ONLY SEVEN SEVENS SO FAR FOR BLARNEY STONE KNOCKOUT COMPETITION
By "PAK LO”
MAUREEN SWANSON
Before going on to Saturday's rugger matches I have been asked to make a few remarks about the Colony Sevens. And Sevens is the right annual Blarney Stone Knockout Competition. This is, to say the least, highly surprising as last year there was the record number of 54 entries. Since there are only a few more days left for the organisers of the various Sevens to enter, the prospect does not look too hopeful at the moment, but there is the possibility that the regulations of the competition have been misunderstood,
word, for to date only seven Sevens have been entered for the Home Soccer
1 have, therefore, been asked to stress the fact that while the Sevens must be entered by February 29 at the latest, the nomes of the playern need be entered until March 19.
Since the first of the quality Ing rounds is held only is week Jater on March 24, there can bo no excuse that organisers were unable to make a Seven la 13rever.
