RECORD-SHATTERING AMERICAN ECONOMY

IN FINAL QUARTER Progress Should Carry Into Next Year

By JOHN MORKA

New York, Oct. 10.

of

The United States moved into its final quarter record-shattering 1955 with the most favourable prospects for continued high level of economic activity on both the domestic and international trade fronts.

With the exception of agriculture, the country's expansion this year appears to have been strong and fairly- well balanced, with new records achieved in just about all that this progress segments of the economy. Indications are will carry over into 1956.
