Austrians Threaten To Cut Short Their S'pore Soccer Series
Singapore, Aug. 6.
Following an allegation of bad refereeing, the Aus trian soccer touring team has threatened not to play the remaining games of the series here if the same referee were appointed.
The threat was made by A. Yanisth, manager of the Graz Athletik Sports Klub of Austria, whose team has played two games in Singapore. His allegation of bad refereeing referred to the game played on Wednesday night against the Sino-Malay Selection which ended in a defeat for the Austrians by two goals to nil.

HORSE FOOTBALL
The latest sport in Berlin, Germany, is "horse foot. ball" which is played by members of the Berlin Police Force,
This new game, which is rapidly becoming very popular, is played by mounted footballers, using a huge ball, nearly three feet in diameter.
Quite apart from providing a great deal of fun, many thrills and occasional spills, this game is useful training as It helps to increase the skill in manoeuvrability of both horses and riders.
