Gremlins went down to defeat yesterday at King's Park by three goals to nil, the third time in two seasons that they have lost to Recreio, and all but fell out of the race for the Championship of the Ladies' Hoc key League which they hold.

It was a very curious match with many a Gremlin showing flashes of brilliance to light up a mediocre show. However, there was no mediocrity in the Recreio dis- play and their three-nil victory was a fair indication of the run of the play.

The spotlight through most of the game was on the two goalkeepers and, though Mother Read tried hard enough to steal the show, it was Recreio's Doreen Ozorio who brought the house down,
