Crown Unable To Find One Of Its Main Witnesses

Allegations that the accused shot Tsui Chok-sang, 47-year-old assistant manager of the Wing On In. surance Co., in an attempt to rob him and his wife, were made by the Crown when 29-year-old unemployed Tsai King-cheung faced trial on a charge of murder at the Criminal Sessions this morning before Mr Justice Gould and a jury of three women and four men.

Before the jury were called, the Crown applied for

an adjournment of the case to the next Sessions because one of the main witnesses could not be located.

The application was opposed by Mr Clifford and was refused by the Judge.
