Who would you choose as premier British Sportsmen for the Year of 1950? My top man would be the incom- parable Reg Harris, last year's "Sportsman of the Year," and sill professional sprint cycling champion of the world. Once again the Manchester lad has beaten the Continentals at their own game and brought honour to British sport. His name is held in awe and respect in the Western Euro- pean countries where cycling figures so prominently.
