Mr. Charles Spofford, American Chairman of the
North Atlantic Pact Deputies, said on arrival horo tonight that America was prepared to do its full part in the spoody build-up of the defences of the North Atlantic area.
Mr. Spofford, who arrived to preside at Tuesday's North Atlantic Pact meeting, said that there was great determination on the part of the United States to do everything they could, based on the confidence that the other mem bers of the Atlantic Treaty were prepared to do their full part also.
