Worldwide battle
for men's minds
Washington, July 5.
The Secretary of Stato, Doan Acheson, said today that, simultaneously with its cynical aggros- sion in Korea, Communism has launched a worldwide false propaganda offensive which threatens the security of the United States. Mr. Acheson said international Communism uses propaganda as a weapon of great strategic value to discredit the United States and sow irresolution, fear and uncertainty among its allies.

American spanding abroad, both cautioned that the United "States must be most careful not
