SKYMASTER WINS THE

CHALLENGE CUP

SASSOON

The second day of the Easter Race Meeting at Happy Valley yesterday was well attended and the puntors saw Skymaster regain supremacy by winning the Sassoon Challenge Cup from Bashful Beauty by one and a half lengths.

The Challenge Cup was presented to the joint

owners of Skymaster by Sir Arthur Morse. Skymaster was ridden by B. L. Tao and it is the second time in succession the combination has won the Cup. The time recorded for the mile and a quarter THE minutes 11.2 seconds is the fastest for the distance since the liberation,
