France and Germany today signed a trade pact calling for the exchange of about £107,000,- 000 worth of goods in the next six months. Today's signing ended two months of negotio- tions.

The agreements will be effective immediately and, supersedes a previous treaty which still had. about six months to run and which provided for an exchange of about £78,000,000 worth of goods.

A

Germany will supply half and France half of the £107.- 000,000 total of the new agree- ment. Payments will be made in France and Marks.
