Tomorrow's Cricket Marks The End Of First Round Of The League Competition

(By "STUMPS")

Tomorrow's cricket will mark the end of the First Round of the First and Second Division League competitions, but there are as yet a number of First Round postponed games in each Divi- sion still to be played.

The First Division fixtures over the week-end are all so very interesting that the non-partison fon will find it somewhat difficult to decide upon which match to see.

Considerable interest will, no doubt, be contred on the games in which the Army, RAF and "Scorpions" are engaged, as all three teams are running nock and neck for honours.

The Hong Kong Football Interport Sub-Committee, meeting at the Association's office yesterday, discussed Interpart matches with Saigon, Manila and Macao.

It was decided that since the French Consul had given his guarantee that the Saigon players would be an better behaviour and since the players themselves had apologised for their bad sportsmanship, a Colony Football team would visit Saigon towards the end of April or the beginning of May when the local foot- ball season ends.
