Some' 870 Communist guerillas have been killed in Malaya since the beginning of the emer- gency, the Colonial Secretary, Mr. Arthur Creech Jones, told Parliament today. "Bandit gangs and murder squads continue to take toll of life and property as the elimination of these evil-doers is not easy,” he said..
In the operation some 870 bandits have been killed and as a result of administrative measures a great deal has been done to deprive the hard core of the bandits of their 'source of supply.
