The Government Wholesale Vegetable Marketing scheme is not in the best interests of the farmers who desire early termination of the control it exercises.

Any agency which aims to help the farmers should act in an advisory capacity only, instead of exercising control over marketing and selling of their vegetables.

This was the gist of a lengthy report issued by the Kowloon Chinese Chamber of Commerce jon Saturday giving the finding of a committee it set up some months ago to study the ques- tion of vegetable growing and marketing.
