Military experts claimed here today that the final crumpling of rebel re- sistance in the Grammos area announced by the Grock Army meant the end of organised guerilla warfare throughout the country. Smashing into the last five square-mile pocket held by the rebels in the Grammos area, Army forces today took full control of the frontier with Albania, it was officially claimed.

Greek commanders and mountain fighters closed all three gateways to Albania

through which defeated guerillas could flee.
