SPECULATIONS OF A NEW RECORD
London, May 12. John Langridge, 39-year-old Sussex cricketer, hit
century his fourth successivo
started yesterday and speculations of a new record.
With well-timed drives and neat leg sido strokes, ho scored 120 against Gloucestershire in three hours and 50 minutes..
The record is six successive centuries. That mark held jointly by C. B. Fry, who did it in 1903, and Sir Don Bradman, 1938 and 1939.
But even if he doesn't exceed their feat, Langridge is in a high class, Only 18 batsmen have obtained four
