Washington, Jan. 19.
The State Department and the United States Army are giving "urgent" consideration to a message from Mr. Bevin, Foreign Secretary, to Mr. George Marshall, Secretary of State, em- phasising the grave situation developing in Germany as a result of the food shortage, the State Department announced today.
The spokesman declared: "The United States Gov- ernment are fully aware of the food shortages in Germany and have the entire matter under review."
