Now that the County Championship is at its most Interesting stage, Cricket fans are speculating on the outcome. It is my intention to comment on a few of the leading Counties.

In my last article at the beginning of the Season I boldly, but not without foundation, predicted that Yorkshire would be entirely out of the running in the present Championship race. I seem to have been correct; but I was certainly mistaken in rating Surrey so highly have so far been most disappointing, although they were host unfortunate at times.
