Nothing will be more productive of Olympic suc-. cess when the next celebration of the Games takes place in London next year than the efforts which have been made to provide first- class athletic education in England.

In 1934, Britain's Amateur Athletic Association organised a Summer School Course in athle- tics at Loughborough College Playing Fields, in Leicestershire, and in the following year the most perfectly equipped and planned stadium in the United Kingdom was laid down. The Course lasted for three weeks.
