K.B.G.C. INTER-CHANGE A Roller Skating Challenge
LEADS FOR SATURDAY'S
LEAGUE BOWLS MATCH
OWING TO THE INACTIVITY OF A NUMBER OF CLUBS LAST SATURDAY, DUE TO THE IN, CLEMENT WEATHER, THERE ARE FEW CHAN- GES IN THE COMPOSITION OF THE VARIOUS FIRST DIVISION TEAMS FOR THE COMING SATURDAY'S GAMES.
Both Recreio “A” and I.R.C., who met last week, have made no changes in their sides, while Craigen- gower are making only one change, promoting L. Gaddi in place of W. K. Way, who will again skip a Second Division rink.

Several changes have been made in the K.B.G.C. "B" rinks. H. Bicknell will be No. 2 in J. Meyer's rink in place of Martun. who replaces the pron oted G. W Deucon as No. 2 in Gay's rink Sherriff is an absentee from this ink and E. A. Alkuns will be taking his place.
III Recreio's Second Division team A. V. Barros goes No. 2 in place of E. L. Barros, who will be seen in the same position, in place of F. J. Marques, in J. R. Soares' rink. A. F. Noronha has third been promoted from the team to O. P. Reniedios' rink, ark! C. C. Pereira's four is unchanged

The only change in Craigen- er spele second team is that Todd takes the place of M. Roza, who returns to the third team. Police. strong aspirants Third Division honours. bringing in E. Greenwood vice H. Dewar in A. E. Carey's rink, and this is their only change, while Craigengower will have A, E. S. Alves in place of R. K. Pavri in A. J. Coelho's rink.
Hong Kong Cricket Club have been forced to make a number of changes. B. J. Lacon will be playing in place of A. MacKellar, P. S. Cassidy will be skipping the 100 per cent. E. S. Abraham's rink in the latter's absence, while W. R. Lambert comes into the side in place of P. Morrison.
A. Nissim will be skipping P. S. Cassidy's rink of last week.

K F.C. have made a change in skips -P. Younghusband, who lost his 100 per cent, record to C C Pereira in his last appearance, is playing No. 3 to W. V. Field in place of V Chittenden, and E. Kern is going to skip in his place
W. C with C. Dowman as his No. 3. Simpson will skip the third rink, with B. D. Evans as No. 1 instead of A. A Dand, who is ni No. 2 in place of C.
BREAKING-IN NEW BATCH OF AUSTRALIANS
The breaking-in" of the28 subscription griffins and 20 griffins which arrived from Aus- tralia last month was commenced at the Race Course last Tuesday morning..
It is further understood that the balance of the shipment, comprising 24 griffing and 48 "subs," will arrive in the near future in two lots. These ponies will not be racing until next February at the earliest.
The present bunch appear to be in excellent shape, after a very comfortable trip.

CHENG KWAN-MIN
The "ball" used is very simi- lar to the puck used in ice-hoc-
key, but though this new game to the Colony is not quite as fast as its ice-counterpart it should be,, nevertheless, ¡interesting enough. There are eight players in cach team.
In addition to this match com- petitions will be held between the two rinks in fancy skating (men, women and children), while there will also be an arithmetic race and a thread the needle race.
AN EXHIBITION IN FANCY SKATING WILL BE GIVEN÷BY SOME OF THE LEADING MEMBERS OF HONG KONG SKATING ASSOCIATION, WHO HAVE BEEN INVITED BY THE MANAGEMENT 'OF THE EMPRESS SKATING RINK TO BE PRESENT.
