It was alleged that on May 27 accused's wife stole some veget- ables from first complainant's garden in Cheuk On Village.

Later in the day, the wounded couple, with two other men, on the way to locale accused's wife met accused, whom they alleged took part in the theft.

Accused said that in defence. -he drew a scissor blade from his pocket and stabbed the woman in the chest and second complainant in the neck, and ran away.
