READY FOR SUMMER SOCCER
Summer football will be seen in Scotland now that plans have been completed for a Summer Cup competition, the prizes for which will be ten War Savings certificates for each member of the winning team.
Summer games are not strange to Scotland. were the junior. teams play almost throughout the year, and while senior clubs have) their close season there is always 8 public for the game. Its proved by the tournament held in 1935 during the Glasgow Exhibition.
The new tournament's pre-
liminary round. will be on the home und nway system, Ars! round matches to be played on June 7 and 14, second round on June 21 and 28, jeading to the semifinals on July 5 and the final on July 12.
