Pagh was not at his best at any stage and the constant pressure applied by his opponent did not help in any.

Oxlade was un- orthodox in the production of all his strokes but he was effective and met with most success when at the net. Pagh was made to do a lot of running but his greater experience and cons stency enabled him to establish
