LEADEN SKIES AND persistent drizzle continued to-day to dampen race enthusiasm, though there was an excellent, crowd, present when the Derby was run this afternoon.

The outstanding feature of this morning's five races was the magnificent handling of Eve of Reason, a rank outsider, by Mr. Daffy Davis in the Gymkhana Handicap:
