On Monday, the 1st July, the General Post Office and Kowloon Contral Post Office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon, Shqungwan Branch Post Office will be open from 8 a.m. to. 10. a.m. and the other Branch Post Offices will be entirely closed...

There will be one collection from the pillar boxes as on Sundays, one delivery of ordinary correspondence-at-11.30-a.m.-and_one_delivery_of_regis- ⚫tered correspondence at 11 a.m.

There will also be one delivery of ordinary correspondence at 11 a.m. from the Branch Post Offices at Stanley, Talpo and. Un Long.

The Money Order Office will be entirely closed.

Air mail letters will be accepted for transmission to Europa by Pan- American Service. to New York and onwards thence by sea, at $2.80 per half- -ounce for the air transport, plus 15 cents per ourice to British possessiona

and 25 cents per ounce to foreign countries in respect of sea transport.

An experimental air service for Europe via United States of America and Trans-Atlantic -Service has also been introduced, the charge being $5 per half-ounce for letters and postcards' $2.50 each,—Ân-approximate estim- ate of the time ocoupled in this transmission is twelve days from the date of departure of the Clipper from Hong Kong.

The postage rates via the revised Imperial Airways Service changed.
