SCHEME FOR SENDING BRITISH CHILDREN OVERSEAS

MR. GEOFFREY SHAKESPEARE, Under-Secretary for the Dominions, who is chairman of the recently constituted Children's Oversea Reception Board, spoke on the wire- less yesterday afternoon about the scheme for sending overseas British children between the ages of five and sixteen whose parents feel they would thus be safer from war risks than by remaining where they are at present.
