AIR POWER'S GREAT PART IN THE BULGE BATTLE
London, To-day. EVERY REPORT OF LAST week's fighting in France and the Lowlands has spoken of the importance of air power on land operations, comments an Air Observer.
No one knows better than the man in the air the aid that can be given to the man on the ground. The Germans have been using their air power to an extent never visualised before, seeking to muf- fle the troops with bombs, while launching fight- ers at our bombers.
