Apparently the German High Command ordered the big push at dawn yesterday, since-German pres- sure is being exerted in every direction in Hol- land and Belgium, mainly north and south of Liege and the French-Luxemburg border, On Sunday, it is now revealed, French mechanised units scored a decisive advantage in a fierce bat- tle west of the Albert Canal, when between 1,500 and 2,000 French and German tanks entered the action.

It is estimated that about 400 Ger- man planes have been shot down since the beginning of the operations in the Low Countries.
