Martin Dics, chairman of the Congressional committee Investi- gating sabotage and espionage, stated yesterday that Nazi and Communist agents, for purposes of sabotage and espionage, have penetrated key American indus- tries "vital to the country in case of war and also to the Allies if large shipments to them are planned."

Mr. Dies said his committee was looking into the situation and added: "I am going to show that in the United States, we have a Trojan horse situation worse than Norway's."-Reuter.

BIG PLANE CONTRACTS

Washington, To-day. Mr Arthur Purvis, head of the Anglo-French purchasing commission, announces that contracts were signed in New York on Wednesday for "huge quantities" of Curtiss pursuit planes and Douglas bombers.
