THE CHINA MAIL, MARCH 16, 1940
KOWLOON'S TASK TO-DAY
(BY REFEREE”),
Though South China "A" have 'al- most won the championship, interest in First Division of the Football League is still maintained as far as the runners-up position is concerned and this afternoon Kowloon, who are in running for that honour, entertain Kwong Wah in what should be the best game of the day.
Kowloon will be without William- will son, who is injured, and Bliss be seen in the centre-half bèrth. Ul- rich, after an absence of some time, will be seen in his usual berthat left back.
*།
Kwong Wah have disappointed this season but have a number of good players at their disposal and are quite capable of giving Kowloon a shock.
Strange as it may seem and no mat- ter what position Club holds in the League table, it is always able to give South China one good game a season. In the first game South China won by the odd goal in three but Club have improved since then and may give the Chinese a better game.
South China "B", who still have a remote chance of finishing runners-up, meet Middlesex, and, in spite of the falling off in form of the latter re- cently, are not expected to win.

CHAMPIONS TO MEET RUNNERS-UP
With both competitions de-- cided little interest remains in ladies' League hockey and such matches that are still outstanding will be com- pleted merely as a formality.
The Senior Champions, "Y" Ladies, and the runners-up, St. Andrew's, will meet to-day in a friendly match on the "Y" ground at 3 pm, and, in
(Other Sport On Page 15) view of the close fight between these
two teams throughout the. season, keenness should not be lacking.
