Reuter learns that in the meantime Britain is prepared ARCH
to supply additional coal which Italy requires provided arrangements can be made for payment.
Special efforts were made during the recent commercial and financial discussions in Rome to provide for additional British purchases in Italy which would enable the lat- ter to pay for coal.
Certain difficulties have arisen but it is still hoped to reach a satisfac-
tory revision of the Anglo-Italian WAKAMA
