GOOD GAME ON TAP AT KING'S PARK

(By "ADREM")

There is only one match on the card in First Division of the Cricket League for this afternoon but it should be a particularly interesting one. It will be played at King's Park between the Cham- pions, Club de Recreio, and the greatly improved Civil Service Cricket Club.

Recreio have a very well-balanced side and will be hard to beat but there are several fine batsmen in the Val- ley team who should be able to pro- vide quite a lot of opposition,

Both teams are at full strength and although Recreio, playing on their own ground, will take a lot of beat- |ing, they will be unable to take mat-

ters too easily.

THE JUNIORS

Division, Craigengower, who have victories over K.C.C.. Junior Champions, and Army to their credit, should account for Recreio juniors, but again an upset is not un- likely.

In the other match, Civil Service, fresh from their first victory of the season scoféd last week at the ex- pense of University, will be all out for blood against Army but in view of the strong batting in the Army tearn are unlikely to do better than draw.

Friendly matches will be played be- tween Club and Army, and K.C.C. and Cralgengower among the seniors, and H.K.C.C. Juniors and Police.

To-morrow, a strong Volunteer eleven will be opposed to Police in a whole-day game. Although Police are unlikely to win, this game should be as enjoyable as this type of fixture always is.
