VERY little is heard of the good
football displays being put up by Royal Engineers, who are at present at (the bead of Second Division. They have, however, one of the best "Sec- ond Division teams 'seen in the Colony for several years, and given any luck

The old South China player is an extremely sure kicker and must

In the Army trial he played at in- side right, but nevertheless still man- aged to give a good display although obviously out of position.
Iley is another dangerous member of the forward line and goes to com- plete what must be one of the best lines in the Colony, at least in junior football.
They have already suffered rather be one of the best backs in the Colony wards here who has not been able to frail in stature "Shu Shu” rarely goes
heavily this season with injuries and If they are hit much more by further Injuries it will quite conceivably spoil their chances as they have not a great
reserve of talent.
Moxham, the goalkeeper, who, I be- Uoye, has played for Aldershot Com- mand at home, is almost certain to 'keep' for the Army this season, and, from what I have seen of him, is the best goalkeeper seen in the Colony for many a day. He is very heavily built, but is amazingly agile for his size and is very safe with his handling, whilst he never wastes a goal kick by kick- ing wildly down the field but always attempts to find his man, a
thing which all too few goalkeepers do.

He is a very strong tackler, is never at a loss when parting with the ball, and can always beat his man if necessary. An adept at long swinging passes to the opposition wing he is an essential member of the side and his accurate passing will be missed if he is ever forced to stand down from the side for
any reason.

FOX, the leader of the attack, to my mind is one of the best centre for-
