INTERESTING LAWN BOWLS

RUGBY CHANGES

Army, beaten 12-8 last week by some interesting Club, havé made changes in their team for their return game at the Valley this afternoon at 4.30 p.m. and a closer struggle is pre- dicted.

Lang, former scrum-half, is being tried at full-back, and Smith, former wing threequarter, is going to the base of the scrum for Marsh to fill his place on the wing. Burrell has replaced Foley at forward,

Club, on the other hand, have intro- duced Fay of Police in place of Char- ter as partner to Bosanquet and as Salter is now fit, he has replaced Dun- nett' as hooker.

The teams are:

BATTLE OF GIANTS.

Mair's four may On paper Wally beat John Basto's rink but I would not care to be definite about it. There should be a big advantage for: Hong the next rink, however, Kong in where Norman Bebbington is opposed to Bill Field: the latter has not much backing whilst the opposing rink ap- pears to be quite strong.

There should be a battle of the giants on the next rink where Frank Goodwin is opposed to Jock Fender of Police. Although it appears to be anyone's game, I foresee a victory for the K. C. C. contingent.

KOWLOON TONG SHOULD WIN In the next game, Kowloon. Tong's four is meeting a combined Electric and Yacht Club team, The suburbanites quite comfortably.
