Women should favour a right part whenever possible. Hats are always tipped to the right and, if the full side of the hair is exposed, a more effective style can be accomplished.

hair is dressed too low; long-necked girls wtih no locks to help conceal the fault; a thickness at waist, seemingly repeated at the neck, and so on.

See if your hair dress adds height. If that's what you want, let it alone; if you are too tall now, take it down. It is well to consider. what sort of hat you intend to wear with your new hair-do. Some hats look ex- ceptionally well with the new styles, while others tend to add a ridiculous touch. A girl with a tip-tilted nose can get added piquancy from a saucy hat that would merely bring out im- perfections in her longer-nosed sister.

If your ears are bare in the new hair dress, don't choose the hat that will give you a Punch-and-Judy aspect. That same hat may look well with a curl to soften the brim.
