IN THE LIGHT of information at present available, says the Diplomatic Correspondent of the "Daily Tele- graph," responsible British circles consider that the more alarming reports of threats of pressure on Hun- gary are being circulated primarily to divert attention from the Polish-German issues which are being work- ed up around the Danzig Corridor.

Moscow, To-day. The Canal Biking up the White Sea and the Baltic has proved too narrow to admit of the passage of medium-sized warships.
