MORGENTHAU OFF TO EUROPE

Washington, To-day. The Secretary of the Treasury, Mr. Henry Morgenthau, sails for Europe to-day.

Mr. Morgenthau said that al- though his visit was private, he would visit Finland to pay thanks to the only country which had paid her debts to the United States! Trans-Ocean.

The loan is destined to help to carry out the third Five Year Plan, and Commissar Sverov expressed the conviction that the Russian na- tion would subscribe as enthusias- tically to the new loan as it had done to previous ones.-Trans- Ocean.
