INCIDENT IN NAVAL YARD

MR. N. S. HALLADAY, CHIEF ENGINEER OF THE H.M.T.V. "WAVE", WAS COMPLAINANT EN AN ASSAULT CASE, AGAINST FOUR CHINESE STOKERS AND THE SECOND ENGINEER, AT THE CENTRAL MAGISTRACY THIS MORNING.

It was alleged that the defen- dants, Fan Yeung, 41, Lin Lan, 52, Tp Kwai, 62 Mo Kau, 42 and Li Yu, 29, assaulted Halladay on board the vessel at the Naval Dockyard yesterday.

All defendants guilty.

Inspector A. V. Baker told the Court that the Dockyard Police instituted the case and he had no idea of the facts.

The case was adjourned till to morrow, for the Dockyard Police to conduct the case.
