Java-China-Japan Line Grootekerk, originally expected to arrive here on Thursday, is now due in port on Sunday morning, the "China Mail" is informed.

The delay in the arrival of the Empress of Asia, which left Hong Kong early this morning,-was-not due to the typhoon (as reported elsewhere), the "China Mail" is in- formed by the local offices of the C.P.R., but was due to pressure of work at Shanghai.

The P. and O, 8.8. Soudan has been delayed; she is now expected to arrive here from Japan and Shanghai on Sunday, July 23.
