BRITISH TRADE AGREEMENT WITH RUMANIA

LONDON, TO-DAY. OFFICIAL ANNOUNCE- MENT HAS BEEN ISSUED RE- GARDING. THE ANGLO-RUMAN- IAN TRADE AGREEMENT, WHICH WAS SIGNED DAY.

The announcement states that the Board of Trade guarantee the principle and interest on bonds issued by the Rumanian Govern- ment totalling £5,500,000 at five per cent., repayable over 20 years.

The protocol provides for the purchase of British cotton and woollen yarns and carded wool to the value of £750,000 through or- dinary trade channels.

It also provides steps to faci- litate trade and payments, and to establish a consultative committee to consider difficulties resulting
