With the exception of Hui Chuen, the five others accused with wound- ing Chan Pui, with intent to main, disable or disfigure him at Bridges Street on May 9 were found animously guilty by the jury at the continued hearing before Sir Atholl MacGregor at the Supreme Court this morning.

Yu Ngau, aged 29, who had eight previous convictions, seven for lar- ceny and one for aiding and abett- ing, was sentenced to two years' hard labour.

Hui Po, aged 32, who had no pre- vious convictions was given nine months' hard labour. He was a hawker and had only carried bamboo pole during the fight.

Li Kwok-cheung, who had been in trouble twice before, was given 18 months' hard labour. He carri- ed a knife during the fight.

The three alleged robbers, rested in the police, ambush in Tai-- po Road on June 6, were brought again before Mr. Q. A. A. Macfad- yen at the Kowloon Magistracy this morning.

Lam Kau, 23, and Wong Wai, 25, were charged with possession of an automatic pistol, a revolver and 15 rounds of ammunition without a licence. Third accused, Chan. Yuk, 25, was charged with posses- sion of an automatic pistol and 11 rounds of ammunition.

Chief Detective-Inspector A. E.- Carey, who is in charge of the
