Man Bites Croc.

Salisbury (Rhodesia), May 14.

If a crocodile bites a man in this part of the world it's hardly news, but when a man bites a croc. — that's different!

It happened to a native who was seized by a crocodile which bit one of his arms through to the bone.

The native kept his head and managed to press a thumb into one of the crocodile's eyes.

Then he seized a claw in his mouth and bit so hard that he severed it.

In its agony the crocodile let him go and the native climbed out of the pool, pretty badly mauled, but alive.
