IN LAST ROUND
THANKS chiefly to the fine form displayed by F. Grose and A. V. White, who combined even better than was expected, Kowloon Cricket Club's "A" team, in the "B" Division yesterday, caused something of a sensation when they beat the pow- erful Recreio team at King's Park by the odd set.
Except in the last round, K.C.C. were always in a losing position, being 1-2, down after the first round, and 212-31⁄2 down after the second.
They then made an excellent re-have returned even better results covery as the various combinations if they had shown a little more settled down, and only dropped understanding. half a point in the last round to score a meritorious victory.
They had a great opportunity of winning their last set when they White and Grose, both players of led Reed and Gonsalves 4-2 and vast experience, did all that was 5-3. In the tenth game, the Re- expected of them in winning three creio couple saved several sel sets. They were never in any real points and then drew up to lead difficulty until their last engage-6--5.
