CONTEMPLATING TAKING OVER

A Reuter message from Peiping quotes the semi-official press as say- ing that new demands have been presented in Tientsin.

Lord Halifax is leaving Gene- va for London to attend the usual Wednesday Cabinet meeting, which, it is understood, will be devoted almost entirely to the Anglo-Soviet agreement.
