Poland's Choice Made, Says Nazi Warning
Berlin, Yesterday. “Poland has made her choice," is the heading in the "Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung" to-day in a leading article on the speech of the Polish Foreign Minister, Col. Joseph Beck. The "Voelkischer Beobachter central organ of ✅ the Nazi Party, says that no amount of ora- tory is sufficient to make plausible Col. Beck's assertion that the Anglo-Polish Pact is com- patible with the German-Polish Agreement of 1934.

"SIN OF OMISSION!
In contradiction to Col. Beck's statement that no German pro- posals had been made to Poland, the "Deutsche Allgemeine Zei- tung" alleges that the first Ger- man offer to Poland was made. in October last year; and that after this date, several com- munications were delivered to the Polish Ambassador.
Colonel Beck, says the paper, was invited to Berlin but visited London instead!
The paper refutes Col. Beck's statement that the first he had heard of any Nazi proposals was in Hitler's Reichstag speech.
"Poland's worst sin of omis- sion," says the paper, "was when she failed to recognise that the German proposals represented un- usual concessions!
NO SUCH CHANCE
"The proposals were that Ger- many would have the Corridor, but not only the Corridor but also the remaining Polish fron- tiers would have been guaranteed on condition that Germany had a connecting highway between the Reich and East Prussia.

"Poland has had no such chance as this since the War.
