Memel, To-day. That 150,000 inhabitants of the autonomous Memel Territory will proclaim their desire for ansch- luss to the Reich within the next few days is the opinion which prevails here.

Grounds for this assumption are to be found in a declaration made yesterday afternoon by the leader of the Memel Germans, Dr. Ernst Neu- mann, to the leaders of the Memel German Party.
