In the House of Commons there will be a debate, initiated by Mr. C. R. Attlee, Labour Opposition leader, on the political and economic situation which has arisen since the crisis.
On November 2, Mr. Greenwood will open the debate on Spain with special reference to the Govern- ment's unpreparedness to protect the civil population when the coun- try was on the brink of war.
