"There must be no chinks in our armour,” declared the Secretary for War, Mr. Leslie Hore-Belisha, in a broadcast on anti-aircraft defence de- velopments last night.

country and determined the vital points. Employers whose establishments form such vital points will receive a letter from me asking them to arrange for a number of their em- ployees to man light guns emplaced for their own protection against a low-flying attack.
