POSTPONED AT BRITISH REQUEST

It is officially announced that the Fuehrer and Mr. Chamberlain have agreed to postpone their Godesberg parleys for 24 hours, and, that they will now take place on Thursday afternoon. This postponement, it is stated, was agreed upon at the express wish of the British Government, and it is presumed, in order to give the British Government opportunity to study the Czech note on the Anglo-French proposals.
From London it is officially an- [nounced:
The Prime Minister's second con- versation with the German Chan- cellor will take place at Godesberg on the Rhine at 3 p.m. on Thurs- day.
The Prime Minister, Mr. Cham- berlain, "and the German Chancel- lor have decided to resume the con- versations begun at Berchtesgaden at Godesberg. The Prime Minister will again be accompanied by his personal adviser, Sir Horace Wil- son, and Mr. William Strang, Direc- tor of the Central European Depart- ment in the Foreign Office.
The Premier will, after all, pro- ceed to Godesberg by plane.
The "Inner Cabinet," ie. Mr. Chamberlain, Sir John Simon, Lord Halifax and Sir Samuel Hoare will discuss the Czech reply to the Bri- tish Plan to-day.-Trans-Ocean.
