NEW TURN IN PARLIAMENTARY PRIVILEGES CONTROVERSY

Allegation Against Military Court Misplaced? Curious House Of ROOSEVELT TALK ITALIAN AIR
Commons Intervention
London, To-day.
An important development in the controversy over Parliamentary Privilege occurred at the end of the question time in the House of Commons yesterday.
Lt.-Col. A. P. Heneage, (Conservative, Louth) sup- ported by Mr. Winston Churchill, asked the Speaker to consider the fact that information had come to their hands differing from that on
which the Committee of Privileges had reach-
ed their decision.
Mr. Churchill asserted that, as a member of the Committee, he had come to the conclusion that the Committee's decision had been taken from a misleading presenta- tion of facts, and the new facts altered the incidence of a breach of privilege.

CENSURE MISPLACED
Mr. Winston Churchill asked whether the Speaker would be pre- pared to receive information from other members.
Speaking as a member of the Committee of Privileges, he had come to conclusion that decision was taken upon a misleading presenta tion of the facts.
Censure had alighted on persons who were completely innocent of #kany action, and who took no part in incidents complained of.
The Speaker said that before coming to a conclusion, he would like to have any evidence which could be sub- mitted to himBritish Wireless.
