CHAMPIONS ALL DEFENDING TITLES

A total of 108 entries in the Open Singles Championship of the Co- lony has been received by the Hon. Secretary, of the Lawn Bowls As- sociation. Last year the entries were 119, and in 1936 totalled 104. U. M. Omar, last year's cham pion, will be defending his title. L. A. Gutierrez, R. F. da Luz, A. Hy. de-Lay, A. M. Holland and A. E. Coates, former title holders, have also entered.

Altogether 83 pairs have entered for the Pairs competition, as com- pared with 76 last year; and 59 pairs in 1936. A. M. Omar and U. M. Omar, last year's champions, will be defending their title.
